A.M.P Rose '26DM' Bunch Wrapping Machine for Chocolates

The 26DM bunch-wraps round, square, rectangular, oval or heart-shaped pieces of moulded or enrobed chocolates in aluminium foil. It has been designed for ease of operation, low running costs and versatility.

Sequence of operations:

1. Belt-fed machine

The products are manually placed onto the infeed belt of the wrapping machine. (Alternatively, an aligner-feeder can be supplied to automate this process) The infeed belt carries the product to the cross-pusher mechanism, which automatically transfers the products into an open-ended feedplate.

2. Manually-fed machine
The products are manually placed into the feedplate, which has holes cut into it the size and shape of the product.
The feedplate then indexes to the elevator position. The correct length of wrapping material is fed from the reel by paper feeding rollers to a position directly above the product. The wrapping material is cut-off by a pair of scissor-type knives.
At this position the product is elevated through the cut wrapper and through a brush, where the sides of the foil are smoothed around the product. As the product is elevated through the brush, the wrapping wheel arms grip the sides. As the wrapping wheel rotates, the foil is tucked underneath the product by two tuckers to complete the wrapping.

The wrapped products are delivered onto a belt, where a rotating brush finally smoothes the top of the product.
