A.M.P-Rose 7IST Double Twist Wrapping Machine

The 7IST is designed to wrap a wide variety of different types and shapes of pre-made sweets including solid and centre-filled high boiled lines, in double-end fantail twist style.

High speeds and efficiencies can be achieved by virtue of the feeding system. Operator convenience, ease of cleaning and maintenance, and safety factors have been incorporated in the design.

Style of Wrap
Double-end fantail twist wrap with a longitudinal seam, unsealed, on the face of the sweet.

 

Wrapping Materials
Twist wrapping grades of cellulose film, waxed paper, PVC or cast polypropylene are suitable as an outer wrapper. The inner wrap, if required, should be tissue backed aluminium foil.

Wrapping Material Size Limits
Reel width:  50 to 110mm
Cut-off length:  51 to 95mm
Standard reel core diameter:  57 to 77mm
Maximum outside diameter of reel:  350mm

Sequence of Operations
The products are fed from a vibratory hopper into a feed disc with tangential pockets cut to suit the size and shape of the product. Sweets are transferred from the feed disc into a six station mould wheel together with the required wrapping material. The double twist wrap is completed in the mould wheel and the wrapped products are discharged down an inclined chute.

Product Size Range
Most normal sweet shapes within the following size limits can be handled:
Length: 16 to 35mm
Width: 13 to 19mm
Thickness: 6 to 17mm
Girth 2 x (width + thickness): 38 to 72mm
Diameter (round shapes): 16 to 29mm

N.B. Products outside this size range will be considered.

Product Size Change
A change of size involves interchangeable parts (feed discs and push-ups) and minor adjustments.
All adjustments are on the outside of the machine.

Machine Speed
An infinitely variable drive up to 700 cycles per minute is fitted. Actual outputs under production conditions will depend on the size and type of product.

Main drive motor. 3.75kW
