A.M.P-Rose F44 Centre Filling Machine

The F44 is a development of the proven F42 centre filling machine. The drive is now through an in-line geared reduction unit/inverter drive with a speed control potentiometer in the main panel. The storage hopper is now electrically heated with temperature control in the main panel.
The centre filler may be used in-line with other equipment manufactured by A.M.P-Rose as shown below.

Construction
A strong steel welded base fitted with 152mm rustproof castors for easy mobility. Storage hopper is made of stainless steel and all paint work to "food finish standards".

Products
Suitable for most types of liquid and viscose paste filling materials e.g. jams, creams, fondants and chocolate pastes.

Operation
A batch of prepared filling mixture is manually loaded into the stainless steel hopper (approx. 50 litre capacity). The heater around the hopper maintains the temperature of the mixture. The primary feed from the hopper is by a stainless steel auger which ensures a smooth positive flow to the pump.

The progressing cavity pump principle is ideal for handling liquids that can be slurries, viscous, shear sensitive,  or when applications require, significant suction lift capabilities. The principle inherent in the pump design is ideally suited for both low to high flow applications.

The heart of the Mono pump is the rotor and stator. As the single helix rotor revolves eccentrically within the double helix of the stator, a continuous cavity is formed and progresses towards the discharge end of the pump as the rotor rotates. This provides a constant non-pulsating flow which avoids the problems normally associated with a piston pump.

The rate of flow is regulated by the potentiometer, and when supplied as part of a complete line the speed of the unit can be controlled by the up-stream machinery, thereby maintaining the correct percentage of centre in the candy batch. The mixture is pumped via a flexible food quality hose and a PTFE coated stainless steel lance directly into the centre of the sugar mass being formed in an adjacent batch roller.

Maintenance
Because the machine is on castors it is easily moved and the pump can be quickly dismantled for routine servicing.
