Pack Expo exhibition

Packaging machine buyers world-wide will descend on Birmingham in
March for the 1st 'Total' (formerly Pakex) exhibition. We shall be
taking a stand in Hall 5, no. 5578 and exhibiting our new
Multihead weighing machine, a 'Rimopack' HFFS and laboratory coating
pan. Our sales team will also be pleased to provide details about the
range of PTL chocolate processing machinery and the Carugil
range of gum, lollipop and liquorice processing and packing machinery.

Rose at the Ipack Ima exhibition
A.M.P Rose will be attending the
forthcoming Ipack Ima exhibition to be held at the Milan Fairgrounds from 4-8th
March 2003. We shall be exhibiting the following machinery at our stand in Hall
16/2 Stand no. A10;
1. 26DM Chocolate Wrapping Machine
The '26DM' foil-wrapping machine can handle a variety of shapes and
sizes of product, including round, rectangular, square and heart-shaped pieces.
The machine has been designed with the operator in mind; it is simple to use and
easy to clean and operate. Size-changing the machine involves only 4 parts and
can be accomplished within 15 minutes. Machines
can be supplied set for either manual or automatic feeding, at speeds from
60-150/minute.
2. Laboratory Coating Pan
The laboratory coating pan has been designed for small scale production or
lab uses. The 300mm diameter pan can be adjusted in rotation speed as well as
angle to perfectly reproduce the production environment. The machine connects to
a standard single-phase supply and can be supplied on a free-standing base if
required. The machine is produced from
stainless steel and other food-grade materials.

2002 - sales of PTL chocolate machinery in Europe
A.M.P Rose is pleased to be the exclusive representative for the sales
and marketing in Europe for Production Techniques Limited (PTL)
of New Zealand.
Production Techniques Limited (PTL) supplies a large range of chocolate
processing equipment, from small chocolate enrobers to large enrobing
lines, and also from small depositors for chocolate, cream, caramel, or
marshmallow, to large one-shot moulding plants. These can be used for
the production of solid chocolate pieces, praline chocolates with cream
centres, or book-frame moulds for chocolate balls, eggs or novelties.

May 2002 - Sales up at
Interpack 2002
Sales Director Paul Mann reports record level of sales leads from
Interpack 2002. "We took more than 500 enquiries during the week of the
exhibition, a good 20% up on the last Interpack show. With a number of
definite orders taken at the show, plus what we expect to receive over
the coming months, it looks to have been a very successful exhibition."

Rose agrees marketing arrangement with PFM of Italy
A.M.P Rose and PFM have agreed on a marketing strategy for the
'Blizzard' cut and wrap machine produced by PFM at its Italian factory.
The Company will take over the sales for this machine in South Africa.
On signing the deal, A.M.P Rose's Managing Director Alan Mann enthused "
This is a perfect arrangement for us, the 'Blizzard' extends our range
of cut and wrap machinery to include an extremely high speed, high
technology pillow-pack machine, which we should have no trouble in
selling to our Customers. With it's proven servo technology and high
output, its a 'must-have' for anyone currently using, or considering the
pillow-pack wrapping style for toffees or bubble gum."

Company launches it's laboratory range of confectionery machines
A.M.P Rose has launched a new range of machinery for the
small-scale manufacturer or laboratory market. The range comprises of a
batch cooker, pulling machine, batch roller and coating pan. The line is
suitable for producing batches of 5-15 kg's.

August 2001 - New
line of Coating machines
The Company has launched a new range of Coating Pans designed to
give Customers a value-for-money yet high quality product. The range
covers stainless as well as copper pans, tilting and fixed, all with
variable speed drives. Various types of blowers/heaters can be fitted as
desired.

2001 - A.M.P Rose adds to new range of machinery with the 'TWRC'
Roll-wrapping Machine
Developed to wrap rolls of compressed tablets at speeds of up to
350 rolls/minute, the 'TWRC' is replacing two machines with one at a
major confectionery manufacturer. The machine has a number of other
advantages such as a built-in sorting unit for damaged or broken pieces,
automatic reel splicing unit and an automatic lubrication system.
