'PREMIERTRONIC FORM, FILL & SEAL MACHINE

A.M.P Rose manufactures state-of-the-art horizontal form, fill and seal machines and feeding systems. The 'Premiertronic' is a fully electronic flow-wrap machine, which is manufactured to the highest standards by skilled packaging machine engineers;

The ‘E’ type Series is fully electronic and incorporates a three-axis servo drive design. One each for the infeed, bottom crimp and end crimp units. The complete system is controlled and co-ordinated by a micro processor servo controller.
The machine is aimed at the mid-range market, but is very economically priced and is within the range of most customers’ budgets.

The machine output speed is only limited to the method of feeding, whether automatic, semi-automatic or hand fed.

MACHINE SPECIFICATION

All models can be supplied in a left handed or right handed configuration, and can be painted finish with stainless steel contact parts, or a fully stainless steel finish.

Infeed: - the standard machine includes a 1.7 metre hand-fed infeed with stainless steel product contact parts. The infeed pushers clip on at three-inch intervals for ease of changeover. The cantilevered infeed chain unit allows easy access for cleaning and size-changing.

Infeed safety: - The infeed drive incorporates an electronic overload safety system.

End Crimp:- The end crimp height is adjustable. The end crimp dive incorporates an electronic overload system. A hand wheel is fitted to the lower crimp shaft.

End Crimp Slowdown :- The end crimp cutting and sealing speed is automatically calculated by the micro processor according to the pack size information input.

End Crimp Dies and Knives:- The end crimp can be fitted with single or double dies. The crimp die serrations can be inline or transverse. The cutting knives can be straight progressive or serrated (zig-zag).

Wrapper Reel:- The standard machine is fitted with a single adjustable quick release reel holder. As an option, a double reel holder, with or without automatic reel splicing is available. The design allows for very low reel reloading. The machine will accommodate a reel width of up to 500mm and a reel diameter up to 400mm. 

Seam Crimp:- This unit has some unique features. There are three sets of sealing rollers. For heat seal wrapping material the first set of rollers are cold. The second and third set are, hot. For cold seal wrapping material all sets are cold. There is a fourth set of rollers, which are the fin turnover rollers. The first set of rollers can be adjusted axially in-motion to tighten or loosen the wrapper. The pressure of the rollers is also adjustable to suit different wrapping materials. The bottom crimp plates can be fitted with cooling tubes to allow chilled water to pass through for cooling.

Wrapper registration:- The standard machine incorporates a print registration system which simply requires the operator to enter a wrapper length and to adjust the pattern position with respect to the end crimp knife. Once this is done the servo controller will monitor the position at which the wrapper registration mark is seen, and make correction adjustment every cycle or alternatively, as required. This reduces wrapper cut off variation to an absolute minimum. Once a wrapper size has been entered it can be stored under a program number (0-99) and called up at any time. The simple set up procedure avoids the unnecessary wastage of expensive wrapping material which occurs with mechanical registration.

 

Size change:- This can be carried out by the operator by inputting pre-determined program numbers (0-99) via the key pad and visual display.

Discharge Belt:- This is driven by its own motor.

 

General:-

  • All bearings are sealed for life
  • The machine is fitted with adjustable feet as standard for leveling purposes and also for linking with other equipment.
  • All guarding is in accordance with statutory requirements.
  • The electrical compartment is separate from the main machine compartment and is totally accessible.
  • Full ‘CE’ mark.
