Rebuilt Forgrove 22B Universal Twist Wrapper

Overview

A rebuilt Forgrove 22B is primarily intended for twist wrapping sweets, lollipops or similar tablets, but other styles of wrap can be produced with the aid of attachments.

It is a well proven and universal machine for the confectionery trade, being rapidly interchangeable for different sizes of sweet or style of wrap. It is gentle in action so that very highly filled pieces can be wrapped without risk of cracking or breaking. A special version is available for foil wrapping suppositories.

Size Range

When twist wrapping, a change over from one size to another takes approximately 10 – 15 minutes. All sweets can be handled within the following approximate limits:

Length: 16 – 60mm
Girth: 32 – 86mm
Height:: 9 – 22mm

Style of wrap

The 22B produces a fantail twist at each end of a sweet and longitudinal seam at the base. Attachments available for crimp: rat tail, sachet, castello, ice bon-bon and fringing.

Feeding

The sweets are fed into the pockets of a feed disc either by hand, by an auxiliary belt feed unit or by an automatic unit depending upon the requirements and the shape of the product being handled.
